Tyler Simon is the associate band director at Clear Creek High School in League City, TX. Tyler received his bachelor’s degree in euphonium performance and music education from Texas Tech University under the tutelage of Dr. Kevin Wass. While at Texas Tech, Mr. Simon held positions in the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band on both euphonium and trombone. In his Junior year, Tyler studied abroad at the Royal Northern College of Music where he studied with Steven Mead and David Thornton. Mr. Simon continues to perform regularly while teaching and is the principal euphonium of the Houston Brass Band.
Brett Blackstone is a professional euphonium instructor in the greater Austin, TX area. Every year, he has numerous All-Region and All-State musicians in both the high school and middle school levels. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Texas Tech University and studied with David Childs at the Royal College of Music.
David Hummel has been a private lesson teacher in Leander ISD for almost 10 years. He is one of the founders of Teupha Camp and is the principal tubist for the Round Rock Symphony. He has a Master of Music in Tuba Performance from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Music from Texas Tech University.
Dusty Steinle is a private lesson teacher of tuba, euphonium and trombone in Round Rock and Leander ISD. Several of his students have been selected for All-State and All-Region Band. He studied Tuba Performance at the University of Texas at Austin.
Trey Hanis is a private lesson teacher in the greater Austin area. He holds a Master of Music degree from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Music from Texas Tech University. He has competed and advanced in numerous professional auditions and solo competitions throughout the country including ITEC, SERTEC, and the Falcone Solo competition.
Kevin Fenske is a music educator and performer residing in Austin, Texas. he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in music education from the University of Houston and a Master of Music degree in euphonium performance from the University of Texas at Austin.
